​MindWave is looking for a skilled Network Designer to join our consulting engineering team in Brussels.​​​​​ The position is hybrid for a client of ours who is a leading company in the banking and finance sector. The candidate will assist in our client’s project to migrate the current Juniper based Hub & spoke network to a Juniper based SD-WAN network with SSR routers.
 

Key Responsibilities

This position will assist two other designers in translating the Architect's High level design into a detailed design. This involves the testing of the solution in the Design testbed, writing of the detailed design document, and providing technical assistance for the qualification team and the operation teams during qualification and deployment.
 

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer science or related Engineering discipline;
• A​​​​​t least 5 years of proven experience in Cloud setup;
• Very well familiar with 
  • Juniper SD-WAN (4 years of experience), 
  • Juniper SSR routers (4 years of experience),
  • Juniper SVR routing (4 years of experience),
• Very good knowledge of documentation (5 years of experience)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
• Team player and analytical mindset;
• Customer-oriented approach and willing to work in a multicultural environment.
