Our client in Belgium is looking for a Business Analyst for their Customer Interaction tribe who has confirmed experience in working in integration projects using the Mulesoft platform to support the team to collect, study, prioritize, co-ordinate high quality customer requirements and to make the bridge between the business and the squad members (development and quality assurance) by co-creating with them the best design and solutions for the expressed business needs.
This position will be part of the DX integration squad, that is currently working in the implementation of Mulesoft (our new integration platform).

Key Responsibilities

• Clarify, analyze and document the business requirements from the server and web-based software applications owned by different stakeholders and where CI is currently supporting these ones.
• Maintain  the documentation up-to-date based on discussions.
• Understand end-to-end business and systems processes flow among different software applications in order to identify when data needs to be provided and what will trigger it.
• Perform simple to complex data mapping among the different data managed or required in between software applications.
• Support in building the governance on APIs.
• Facilitate discussion within the people involved in order to get clarification and agreement on business requirements.
• Facilitate the demo to end-users and when needed, organize the User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Collaborate with quality assurance in the definition of test cases scenarios.
• Collaborate with the Data Architect in order to build the data models that will support the future implementation.
• Ensure that the non-functional requirements are in line with customer expectations.
• Actively engage with your squad, a multi-disciplinary, autonomous team, composed of product management, development, quality assurance, operations, and other key stakeholders to ensure that the functional and non-functional requirements are in line with customer expectations.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement on how to have maximum effectiveness in a changing, Agile, environment. You will participate in the life of the squad and in the Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications​ ​​

• University degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years experience in business analysis.
• Working experience with APIs, webservices, data integration process is required.
• Understanding of integration architecture and patterns is a must.
• Knowledge and experience in Mulesoft integration platform is a must.
• Excellent analytical skills. Data analysis and data mapping is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Team player.
• Knowledge of Jira in confluence is a plus.
• Working experience in an Αgile environment.
